Heatwave Theatre: ATiiSSU’s Desert Cowboy Enters the Frame
ATiiSSU isn’t playing it safe—and its latest move proves it. On April 28, the headwear label dropped the full campaign film for its DESERT COWBOY COLLECTION, fronted by Felix, alongside a dedicated pop-up experience that extends the narrative beyond the screen.
If the teaser released on April 10 stirred curiosity—with its surreal visuals of headless figures and floating heads—the complete film leans all the way in. Set against a sprawling desert landscape, the campaign builds a charged atmosphere where heat feels almost tangible and reality begins to fracture. Within this liminal space, Felix faces off against an enigmatic force known as “Venus Flytrap,” a presence that amplifies the tension running through the story.
The soundtrack doesn’t hold back either. Driven by heavy metal, the film pulses with intensity, mirroring the clash between the two figures. From this collision, ATiiSSU’s leather metal headwear emerges—not as a finishing touch, but as a central force. It reframes the idea of accessories, positioning them as objects that carry narrative weight and emotional charge.
Felix, who has been aligned with ATiiSSU since its early days, anchors the campaign with a striking physicality and unmistakable presence. His performance underscores the brand’s refusal to follow predictable fashion storytelling, instead carving out something more experimental, more cinematic.
The collection itself translates that same energy into wearable form. Drawing from the endless motion of sand and the oppressive rise of desert heat, ATiiSSU introduces a reworked Western aesthetic—one that balances freedom with restraint. Fabrics like knit and organza are layered with black leather, producing silhouettes that move with ease yet hold structure. Pleated textures ripple through each piece, while stones and cubic embellishments are placed with precision, catching light in a way that feels almost rhythmic.
Already available for pre-release online, the collection will officially launch across multiple touchpoints: ATiiSSU’s online store, the Desert Cowboy pop-up, its Dosan flagship, and Haus Nowhere Seoul.
The pop-up itself, located beside the Dosan flagship in Seoul, extends the campaign’s universe into physical space. Visitors can step into the narrative—trying on pieces worn by Felix and other characters, and interacting with an AI-powered photo booth designed to immerse them further into ATiiSSU’s world. It’s less of a retail stop, more of a constructed environment where fashion and storytelling intersect.
With the full campaign now live on ATiiSSU’s Instagram, the brand continues to build global momentum—pushing its visual language into bolder, less conventional territory. The desert, it seems, is only the beginning.
