Hardwear Stories: Dickies® x Harley-Davidson® Double Down on Legacy
Some collaborations flirt with nostalgia. Others come back sharper, louder, and with something to prove. Dickies® and Harley-Davidson® fall squarely into the latter, reuniting for their second limited-edition drop, “Built to Outlast”—a collection that leans into endurance, attitude, and the kind of design that refuses to sit still.
At its core, this capsule draws a straight line between two parallel worlds: American workwear and motorcycle culture. One built on grit and function, the other on rebellion and the open road. Together, they form a wardrobe that doesn’t just reference heritage—it’s constructed from it. Every stitch, fabric choice, and silhouette is engineered for those who don’t treat clothing as precious, but as part of the daily grind.
Following the rapid sell-through of their first collaboration, this new release doesn’t reinvent the wheel—it reinforces it. Signature staples like the Eisenhower Jacket and Original 874® Work Pant return, reworked with subtle but deliberate upgrades. Alongside them, fresh denim pieces expand the offering, adding new layers to the narrative. The collection spans both men’s and women’s fits, unified by a shared mindset: durability over decoration, purpose over excess.
The standout Eisenhower Jacket arrives rebuilt in a heavyweight recycled twill blend, insulated for colder rides and longer days. It’s been thoughtfully engineered with an action back and pre-curved sleeves for mobility, while details like a two-way zip and hidden snap-down collar ensure it performs just as well on a bike as it does off one. Inside, a D-ring utility loop adds function, while the exterior carries custom graphics that mark the longevity of both brands—less branding, more storytelling.
Denim takes a front seat this season. The Carpenter Pant is cut from a substantial 14 oz. cotton denim, softened through rinsing and washing for comfort without compromising structure. Its high-rise, relaxed fit is paired with practical elements—wide belt loops, panelled construction, and generous pocketing—making it as adaptable beyond the workweek as it is within it.
The Boxy Denim Jacket follows suit, balancing structure with ease. Built from the same weighty denim and lined with polyester tricot, it delivers a clean, boxy silhouette with concealed closures and dual-entry pockets. The back graphic draws from 1930s Harley-Davidson® racing aesthetics, a subtle nod that connects past and present without feeling forced.
For something lighter, the Denim Vest strips things back while keeping the integrity intact. A straightforward cut with a V-neckline and sturdy construction, it’s finished with an embroidered co-branded patch—quietly confident, never overstated.
Then there’s the Winged Bar & Shield Ribbed Tank, a more laid-back piece that still carries weight in its details. Made from breathable cotton with a ribbed texture, its slightly cropped cut is paired with archival-inspired branding, including the 1930s Silver Wing logo—proof that even the simplest pieces can hold history.
“Built to Outlast” doesn’t chase trends or seasonal hype. It’s designed for repetition, wear, and the kind of lived-in character that only time can create. Available from April 22, 2026, via harley-davidson.com, dickies.com, and selected Harley-Davidson® dealerships, this is a collection that expects to be worn hard—and looks better for it.
