Itchy, Flaky, Sensitive? Suu Balm’s New Scalp and Hair Conditioner Might Be Your Missing Step

Flakes on your shoulders. An itch that refuses to quit. A scalp that feels like it is constantly protesting. Sound familiar? Suu Balm is officially done letting sensitive scalps suffer in silence.

Award-winning, dermatologist-developed brand Suu Balm has expanded its Scalp Care Range in Malaysia with the launch of its all-new Scalp and Hair Conditioner, completing a three-step routine designed to calm, hydrate and restore stressed-out scalps. The full lineup now includes the Anti-Dandruff Shampoo, Rapid Itch Relief Scalp Spray and the newly introduced conditioner.

Since entering the scalp care space, Suu Balm has quietly become a go-to for those dealing with dry, itchy and sensitive scalps. Its shampoo and spray duo was developed to target the root causes of scalp discomfort and is clinically proven to reduce scalp flaking in just three days. Not bad for something that actually treats your scalp like skin.

The new Scalp and Hair Conditioner takes that same science-first approach and extends it into a complete treatment routine. Designed specifically for sensitive scalps, it allows active ingredients to be applied directly where they matter most. The formula is packed with 6X nourishing agents to deliver hydration from roots to ends, while keeping scalp comfort firmly in check. It is pH-balanced, hypoallergenic and clinically tested to be safe for all hair and scalp types.

The numbers speak for themselves. In user trials, 93% of participants found it soothing for itchy scalps and 97% agreed that their scalp felt more moisturised. It is also safe for direct scalp application, which is a big deal for anyone who has ever been told to keep conditioner far away from their roots.

“This breakthrough formula, Suu Balm Scalp and Hair Conditioner is safe for direct scalp application. The Suu Balm Scalp Care range has been nearly seven years in the making. We first launched our Rapid Itch Relief Scalp Spray in 2019, followed by the Anti-Dandruff Shampoo in 2023. With the introduction of the Scalp and Hair Conditioner, the routine is now complete. The entire range is the result of years of meticulous ingredient selection and rigorous testing with real users. Our goal has always been to create solutions that genuinely work for both scalp and hair, especially for individuals with sensitive scalp conditions,” said Dr John O’Shea, Co-Founder of Suu Balm at the launch.

Scalp issues are not exactly rare, especially in Malaysia. Heat, humidity, long commutes, air-conditioned offices and extended wear of head coverings all play a role in triggering dandruff, itch and sensitivity. These are everyday realities for many adults, which makes scalp discomfort one of the most common hair and skin concerns both locally and globally.

“I am impressed with the clinical test results that show the complete regimen can reduce scalp flaking in just three days and boost scalp moisture by over 138%, restoring a healthy scalp microbiome while providing soothing relief for itchy scalps,” said Dr Goh Siew Wen, Consultant Dermatologist.

Beyond soothing irritation, the range helps users tackle visible flakes and persistent itch head-on, giving them one less thing to worry about during a busy day.

True to Suu Balm’s brand DNA, the entire Scalp Care Range is formulated without silicones, sulfates, parabens, essential oils and fragrances. The new Scalp and Hair Conditioner was developed over a year in collaboration with Dr Tey Hong Liang, the world-renowned dermatologist from the National Skin Centre in Singapore, who also formulated the other products in Suu Balm’s lineup.

For added peace of mind, all products in the Suu Balm Scalp Care range are Halal-certified by JAKIM Malaysia. The Anti-Dandruff Shampoo is available in 230ml and 480ml at RM77.15 and RM123.50. The Rapid Itch Relief Scalp Spray comes in 40ml and 100ml, priced at RM59.30 and RM116.50. The new Scalp and Hair Conditioner retails at RM84.90 for 250ml and is packaged in recycled plastic that is fully recyclable.

The full range is now available at major leading pharmacies including Caring Pharmacy, as well as online via Suu Balm Malaysia Official Stores on e-store, Shopee, Lazada and Tik Tok.

Flakes, itch and discomfort do not have to be part of your daily routine. It is time to shoo the flakes, soothe the itch and reset your scalp health.
