Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur Puts a Pink Twist on Afternoon Tea and Brunch for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is turning pink at Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, and the occasion comes with something worth raising a glass to. In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the hotel is introducing Pink Ribbon Celebration, a month-long programme that brings together elegant dining, pink-hued pâtisserie and a meaningful partnership supporting breast cancer research.

Running throughout October, the celebration unfolds across Park Lounge and Merdeka Grill, with each venue offering its own take on Pink October. Beyond the pretty presentations, the programme also shines a light on the importance of supporting research, culminating in a partnership with Cancer Research Malaysia.

A French-Inspired Afternoon Tea Gets a Pink Makeover

Afternoon tea is getting a seasonal refresh at Park Lounge with Crème de la Crème: The Pink Afternoon Tea. Continuing its collaboration with Elle & Vire, the experience gives the existing pâtisserie collection a rosy new look, bringing a touch of pink to the French-inspired creations without losing sight of the craftsmanship behind them.

The dessert trolley is the star of the show, featuring highlights such as Pink Forest, Pink Mille-Feuille and Pink Monaka. Each creation adds a playful nod to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, turning the familiar afternoon tea ritual into something that feels a little more occasion-worthy.

Available throughout October, the experience offers a sweet way to mark Pink October, whether for a leisurely catch-up or an afternoon spent indulging in beautifully presented pâtisserie.

A Brunch With a Bigger Purpose

Over at Merdeka Grill, the spotlight shifts to The Pink Champagne Brunch, presented in partnership with Cancer Research Malaysia in support of the organisation's work in breast cancer research.

Guests can expect the restaurant's signature brunch spread, complete with seafood on ice featuring chilled king crab, lobster and prawns. A pink-themed dessert selection adds a celebratory finishing touch, while curated cocktails from the trolley bring another reason to linger over the weekend meal.

Here, the experience goes beyond the menu. The partnership with Cancer Research Malaysia brings breast cancer research into focus, giving the Pink Champagne Brunch a purpose that extends beyond the table.

More Than a Pretty Shade of Pink

With Pink Ribbon Celebration, Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is approaching Breast Cancer Awareness Month through two distinct dining experiences. Park Lounge puts the emphasis on French-inspired pâtisserie and afternoon tea, while Merdeka Grill brings together its signature brunch, celebratory drinks and a partnership supporting breast cancer research.

For October, pink takes centre stage across both venues, serving as a reminder that awareness deserves a place in everyday conversations, including those shared over afternoon tea or a long, leisurely brunch.
