Maje’s SS27 Collection Is in Full Bloom, With a Little Parisian Attitude
Under the artistic direction of Judith Milgrom, Maje’s “La Fleuriste” collection brings together garden-inspired romance, playful textures and the kind of effortless femininity that belongs just as much on city streets as it does among the flowers.
Flowers for spring? Predictable, perhaps. But Maje is giving the familiar floral fantasy a distinctly Parisian makeover.
On October 1, Maje unveiled its Spring/Summer 2027 collection, La Fleuriste, in Paris, drawing inspiration from the beauty of blooming gardens and the polished energy of urban life. Led by artistic director Judith Milgrom, the collection explores femininity through fluid silhouettes, intricate details and a refreshing mix of softness and attitude.
Think less delicate flower arranging, more dressing like the main character in your own Parisian daydream.
Romance, With a Twist
The collection makes a case for florals that go beyond the usual pretty prints. Soft blush, soothing lavender and sunlit yellow bring a dreamy quality to the palette, while electric hues inject a little extra personality. Ethereal patterns meet oversized silhouettes, creating pieces that feel relaxed without losing their fashion credentials.
Texture also takes centre stage. Premium natural silks and lightweight linens offer movement and ease, while structured tweed adds definition to the softer designs. Intricate lace and beadwork complete the picture, highlighting the craftsmanship behind the collection.
The result is a wardrobe that plays with contrasts: romantic yet confident, polished yet playful, and feminine without feeling overly precious. Designed for women constantly on the move, La Fleuriste moves between daytime dressing and evening plans without asking for an entire outfit change.
Didi Ouyang Brings the Blooms
Singer Didi Ouyang made an appearance at the Paris presentation in a look straight from the SS27 collection, proving that florals can have plenty of personality.
She wore a white bandeau top finished with a ruffled hem, paired with floral-embellished crystal denim jeans. Pink low-heeled mules and Maje’s Milpli suede handbag completed the ensemble, balancing playful embellishments with an easy, contemporary feel.
Against a backdrop of blooming florals, the look captured the collection’s central mood: confident, feminine and free-spirited, with just enough sparkle to keep things interesting.
Parisian Fashion's Front Row Moment
The presentation also welcomed a gathering of fashion influencers, including Yoyo Cao, Elva Ni, Jenny Tsang, Kiwi Lee, Patty Tang and Christinna Kuan, who came together to discover Maje’s latest take on contemporary romance.
With La Fleuriste, the brand continues to explore femininity as something dynamic rather than one-dimensional. There is room for softness, structure, colour and a little edge, all within the same wardrobe.
Under Milgrom’s direction, nature serves as the starting point rather than the entire story. The flowers may set the mood, but the woman wearing the clothes remains the focus.
And if SS27 has a message, it is that getting dressed can be romantic without being predictable. Sometimes, all it takes is a little floral embellishment, a well-cut silhouette and the confidence to let your outfit do the talking.
