Skechers x Haris Rashid: Art You Can Wear, Comfort You Can Feel

Skechers just dropped a collection that hits differently — and this time, they’re doing it with serious local flavour. Enter the Skechers SkechVibe Collection, a limited-edition lineup born from the brand’s first-ever collab with Malaysian visual artist Haris Rashid, known for his kaleidoscopic art that threads nature, nostalgia, and culture into every brushstroke.

It’s not just merch — it’s wearable storytelling. Think oversized unisex tees and tote bags printed with bold imagery pulled straight from Haris’ creative universe. We’re talking hornbills mid-flight, traditional Wau kites in motion, and vibrant florals that don’t shy away from being seen. All that detail is laid onto soft, breathable cotton, making each piece equal parts statement and staple.

To kick off the launch, Skechers hosted an intimate preview at their flagship in The Exchange TRX — and it wasn’t your typical fashion rollout. Guests were treated to a front-row seat at a live painting session by Haris himself, along with a guided look at the collection, peppered with personal stories and insights from the artist. A charm-making station offered a hands-on moment, letting attendees channel the collection’s motifs into their own keepsakes.

It wasn’t just about clothes — it was about connection.

For Haris, this project was a chance to fuse his creative identity with functional fashion:

“I wanted to highlight Malaysian nature and culture in a vibrant, expressive way. The challenge was to translate my detailed art style into wearables while still capturing the essence of the story.”

Available now from RM99, the Skechers SkechVibe Collection is stocked at select Skechers concept stores nationwide — including Pavilion KL, Pavilion Bukit Jalil, The Exchange TRX, Pavilion Damansara Heights, Suria KLCC, and 1 Utama — plus online at Shopee and Lazada.

This one’s for the culture. But only for a limited time.
