Where Festive Dining Gets Personal at Nobu Kuala Lumpur

Some restaurants are perfect for a quick bite. Others are made for moments you actually remember. This season, Nobu Kuala Lumpur leans into the latter, introducing two seasonal menus that turn festive dining into something slower, warmer, and more personal.

Created for Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day, these limited-time offerings invite guests to celebrate reunion and romance through Nobu’s signature Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. The focus is simple: thoughtful dishes, premium ingredients, and menus designed for sharing rather than rushing.

For the Lunar New Year, Nobu Kuala Lumpur presents its Chinese New Year Special, available throughout the festive period. The experience opens with a Yee Sang Sashimi Platter for the table. Fresh salmon and madai sashimi are paired with crispy yuba, sesame crisp, pomelo yuzu marmalade, and finished with an orange wafu dressing that brings brightness and balance to every toss. Festive without being flashy, it feels familiar yet unmistakably Nobu.

Dessert follows with Kirimochi, a comforting yet refined finish of grilled Japanese mochi served with sumi kuromitsu, coconut cream, and mango shiso sorbet. It gently rounds off the meal, making it well suited to a reunion table.

February brings a different mood. From 9 to 15 February, Nobu Kuala Lumpur introduces its Valentine Omakase, a multi-course menu built around some of the restaurant’s most celebrated creations. Highlights include Toro Tartare with Caviar, Nobu Style Sushi, Rice Paper Pillow with Shrimp, Steam Coral Grouper with Nobu Egg Sauce, and A5 Wagyu with eel pepper sauce. The experience ends on a light note with Yuzu Strawberry Pavlova layered with Earl Grey jelly and vanilla cream.

The Valentine Omakase is priced at RM 900++ per person, subject to a 10 percent service charge and 6 percent SST. For dinner on 14 February, a RM 500 nett per person deposit is required for guests aged 12 and above, whether dining à la carte or choosing the omakase.

Guests may also pre-order a rose bouquet at RM 320 nett per bouquet, with orders placed at least three days before the reservation date.

At its heart, these seasonal menus are about creating space for connection. Long conversations, shared plates, and meals that feel like an occasion without trying too hard. Nobu Kuala Lumpur strikes that balance with confidence, offering experiences that feel intimate and unmistakably polished.
