Yes Turns KL Magenta with Happy Party Vol. 1
Kuala Lumpur has seen its fair share of music pop-ups, but on 19 September, Yes decided to crank the dial all the way up with its first-ever Happy Party Vol. 1 — a mash-up of sound, style, and the kind of carefree vibes you only get when a room is buzzing with pure magenta energy.
This wasn’t your standard gig. Hosted inside the Yes Experience Store at Lot 10, the space was transformed into a pulsing hub of culture, where coffee cups clinked, exclusive merch was snapped up, and the stage lit up with the raw talent of Empty Page, MR TWO FIVE, and Smooth Brain Girly. The concept? Think “tiny desk concert,” but make it Kuala Lumpur, make it chic, and above all, make it happy.
“Happy Party is about celebrating joy, style and the freedom to own the latest technology without breaking the bank,” said Wing K. Lee, Chief Executive Officer of YTL Communications. “At Yes, we believe happiness should be accessible to everyone — and through our plans and offers, we’re showing that staying connected, stylish and ahead of the curve doesn’t have to come at a premium.”
Yes’ spin on nightlife is less about flashing lights and more about creating a community moment — an unplugged scene where tech meets creativity and strangers turn into a crowd united by rhythm. With Happy Party Vol. 1, they’ve made it clear: connectivity isn’t just about WiFi bars on your phone; it’s about the real-life connections sparked over music, merch, and magenta-hued memories.
