Golden Hour: TUMI Drops Its Ultra-Limited 50th Gold Anniversary Collection
For its 50th birthday, TUMI isn’t quietly reminiscing—it’s making noise. Loud, golden, high-shine noise. To commemorate half a century of pushing the envelope in travel and lifestyle design, the brand has launched a gleaming limited-edition capsule that reimagines its iconic 19 Degree Aluminum collection in bold Bullion Gold.
This isn’t your standard luggage drop. It’s a statement—250 individually numbered pieces per silhouette, designed to turn heads from the airport lounge to the private jet hangar.
“We wanted to do something truly special for our 50th anniversary,” says Creative Director Victor Sanz. “And what better way to celebrate than by taking our iconic 19 Degree design and giving it a bold, metallic gold twist? This ultra-limited-edition drop is all about celebrating where we’ve been—50 years of pushing boundaries in design and craftsmanship—and where we’re headed. It’s the perfect blend of innovation, style and celebration.”
The capsule lineup? A refined edit of four silhouettes from the 19 Degree Aluminum series: a sleek Briefcase, the International Carry-On, a Watch Travel Case, and a show-stealing Minaudière. Each one crafted from aircraft-grade aluminum, sculpted with the signature angled contours that make 19 Degree unmistakable, and marked with a 50th anniversary story patch denoting its individual number.
This is less about travel gear, more about legacy. And if you’re hoping to get your hands on one, you’ll need to move fast.
The collection went live globally at 9:00 AM EST on April 25, exclusively at TUMI.com. Prices range from RM3,440 to RM10,560. A razor-edged selection is also available in hyper-curated quantities at select North American stores—from South Coast Plaza to Rockefeller Center—and at key flagships around the world.
Asia, Europe, and Latin America are in on the action too. From Singapore and Seoul to Paris and Panama City, participating TUMI stores in over 25 countries are stocking a handful of these gilded grails.
The message is clear: TUMI’s not just celebrating 50 years—it’s making sure you remember them.
