This holiday season, KAYALI invites the world on a journey of empowerment and sensuality with its boldest fragrance lineup yet — The Freedom Collection. Centered around the timeless allure of musk, the collection reimagines this classic note through four distinctive creations: Freedom Musk Bouquet | 27, Freedom Musk Santal | 34, Freedom Musk Matcha | 45, and Freedom Musk Latte | 41.
But this isn’t just a fragrance launch — it’s a statement of liberation, authenticity, and self-expression.
“The story behind this collection is deeply personal to me. It was inspired by my own journey toward independence and learning to fully embrace who I am without holding myself back,” shares Mona Kattan, Founder & CEO of KAYALI. “I started asking myself — what does freedom smell like? And for me, it had to be musk.”
For Mona, musk represents more than a scent; it’s a revolution. “In the 60s, women wore musk as a form of rebellion, stepping away from traditional florals to express strength and confidence. That energy really inspired me,” she says. “My goal with this collection is to help everyone find a musk — or 3 or 4 — that truly resonates with them. Our tagline, Find Your Light, comes from something deeply personal to me — it’s about discovering your inner power and letting it guide you.”
The Freedom Collection officially debuts with an exclusive Sephora App Preview on November 16, 2025, across the US, Canada, UK, Europe, and the Middle East, followed by a global release on November 18, 2025, via KAYALI.com and major retailers.

Floral, radiant, and romantic — Bouquet | 27 captures the confidence and beauty of your truest self. It opens with bright ylang-ylang, sparkling pink pepper, and solar jasmine, before blooming into a heart of lush Turkish rose and soft vanilla musk. Grounded in praline, vetiver, and KAYALI’s signature accord, this scent is a dreamy balance of depth and light.
“For Freedom Musk Bouquet | 27, we wanted to compose a disarming skin scent; a new expression of the musky signature that feels luminous and radiant,” explains Nathalie Lorson, Master Perfumer at dsm-firmenich. “We envisioned a sheer musk that makes the wearer shine with a sense of openness to embody the true spirit of freedom.”
Freedom Musk Santal | 34
If confidence had a scent, it would be Santal | 34. This warm and spicy fragrance opens with bergamot, mandarin, and pink pepper before unfolding into freesia, lily, and lavender. The dry-down, rich with creamy sandalwood, amber, and KAYALI’s signature musk, is pure elegance.
“With Freedom Musk Santal | 34, Mona and I had the idea of creating an addictive blend of sandalwood and musk that is velvety and sensual,” shares Hamid Merati-Kashani, Principal Perfumer at dsm-firmenich. “We wanted the person who wears it to feel empowered, confident, and at the same time evoke a sense of inner peace.”

Fresh yet grounding, Matcha | 45 is like a mindfulness ritual bottled. The scent opens with matcha, maté, and bergamot, revealing a creamy heart of oat milk, praline, and vanilla before settling into sandalwood and sweet musk.
“For Freedom Musk Matcha | 18, Mona and I wanted to create a second-skin fragrance that feels fresh and subtle,” says Alexis Grugeon, Principal Perfumer at dsm-firmenich. “Inspired by a delicious morning matcha latte, we reimagined it into an intimate, musky scent for a comforting and radiant experience.”
Freedom Musk Latte | 41
Sweet, spiced, and totally irresistible — Latte | 41 captures the comforting warmth of your favorite café ritual. Think mandarin and cinnamon swirling into a rich heart of café latte, lavender, and Turkish rose, before melting into chocolate musk and cedarwood.
“For Freedom Musk Latte | 14, Mona and I wanted to create a fragrance that balances warm spices with a sensual musky character,” explains Florian Gallo, Perfumer at dsm-firmenich. “We wanted to capture the comforting scent of a morning latte blending with the crisp air of a sunlit morning.”
The Freedom Campaign
To embody the spirit of Find Your Light, the campaign brings together a diverse cast of creatives and fragrance lovers including Cynthia Victor (@shawtysin_), Zak Heath (@zak.heath), Yasmin Basi (@beautybyyasi), Jonathan Mefré Fendju (@jonathanmefre), Rebecca Maurino (@rebeccamaurino), Travaulya Wallace (@travaulya), and Basmala Alaa (@bsmallaalaa) — each adding their unique energy and story. The collection’s bottles channel raw sensuality with ombré nude matte finishes that mirror the tones of skin. Each diamond-shaped bottle is topped with a jeweled cap — a nod to traditional Middle Eastern perfume artistry — and numbered to reflect the meticulous rounds of formulation it took to achieve perfection.
